I installed the new Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 by mistake.
I uninstalled it through the Add/Remove option in Control Panel and tried to reinstall Acrobat Reader 7 again, but the setup terminates in the middle giving the following error message : “Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Setup now terminates.” even though I have completely uninstalled Acrobat Reader 9. Pls help!

Adobe Acrobat Reader used to be free to download. Now everywhere I see it, it costs money. My Turbo Tax files from previous years are pdf files and now I can’t even open them because of my reformating of my PC.
They all say they are free, but then you click on the download button and they ask for your pay info and tell you what they are charging.
