Every time I boot up my computer, the icon in the system tray animates and it does an on-access scan of every file, which draaags the system down big time. How can I get this to stop? “Test memory during startup” is actually currently disabled. What this is doing is sitting there scanning each and every program, file, e-mail, web page, etc. that is opened…an actual ‘on-access’ scan-as-you-go approach.
